Beads for Food – Novembers Fund Raiser

LEST Street Team is a group of wonderful lampwork artist who sell on Esty. We had a fund raiser in October to raise money for Breast Cancer.
Alice was sold at my Etsy Shop PaulaNC and I raised 60.00 in bead sales for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the month of October. Alice as also featured on The Art Zoo Blog on November 4, 2008. What a pleasant surprise for me to see my work shown on their blog.
November’s Fun Raiser is “Beads for Food” I will be donating one can of food to our local Sheppard Care Food Panty in Bat Cave, NC for every sale I have in the month in November at my Etsy Store PaulaNC.

October LEST Street Team challenge is “Tuff enough to wear pink”. Many of the members are donating a portion of their profits to breast cancer awareness foundations. Well, I am not sure if she is tuff enough but she sure is cute enough to wear pink.

I really wanted to make 100 hearts on the Beads of Courage Spring Challenge hosted by Maggie on WetCanvas but ran out of time. I did get 76 hearts made…so watch out Maggie I’ll be ready for the fall Challenge
